Fit Guide

MEASUREMENTS

Please note that the size is not always the best guide for determining whether a garment or shoes fit.

The size stated can be very misleading, due to the fact that vintage sizes are different from modern sizes. In order to determine if the garment or shoes fits, close attention must be paid to the actual measurement provided in the item description. If additional measurements or information are needed than what is provided please contact Anvintro directly for more information. It is also very helpful to compare the measurements provided with measurements of similar garment or shoes that you own.

Garments must be measured when laying flat on hard surface. It is important not to stretch the garment when measurements are taken.  Garments are measured as follow:

DRESS BLOUSE SHIRT COAT JACKET & SWEATER

(A) The length is from shoulder seam to bottom hem of garment.

(B) Shoulder measured from shoulder seam at one side to shoulder seam at the other side

(C) Bust measurement is taken at the fullest point of the bust/chest on the garment point to point

1” below armhole. Other bust measurements direction might state a little different but in order for us to be on the same page, please measure exactly as stated.

(D) Waist measurement is taken at the narrowest point unless otherwise specified

(E) Hip generally 9" below waistline

(F) Bottom Opening straight across bottom edge to bottom edge

(G) Sleeves are measured from top of shoulder seam to the end of sleeve.
